USCG Auxiliary Sailing Endorsement Course
The Auxiliary Sailing Endorsement is required if you want to operate an Inspected Sailing Vessel. This endorsement allows the licensed Master to carry 7 or more passengers while under sail on an inspected sailing vessel. A minimum of 360 days of sail boat experience is required

Course Objectives
Be familiar with the principles behind sailing.
Know the parts of a sailing vessel, including the standing and running rigging.
Know proper sailing maneuvers.
